SUMMER 2013 BMX TRAINING CLINICS JUST ANNOUNCED!!
Jennifer Knight is a personal trainer and lifelong BMX racer.
She is also a UCI CERTIFIED BMX COACH!!
Jennifer will be conducting 8 clinics this season.
The first clinic (May 28) is free to everyone.
The subsequent clinics will be $10 each, or all 8 for $50.
#1 ) MAY 28 - Nutrition sprint training and goal setting - FREE
#2 ) JUNE 11 & 13 - Plyometric training, gate starts, turns and rider defense
#3 ) July 9 & 11 - Core strength, pumping, manualing and jumping
#4 ) August 13 & 15 - Mental skills and rider preparation for East Division Final
#5 ) October 15 - Off-season training & preparation for 2013 Grands in Tulsa
The clinics will focus on rider's skills as well as off-the-track training methods.
Each clinic will be broken down into 2 groups:
Group #1 - 12 & under and Group #2 - 13 and over.
Clinics for Group #1 will start at 6pm and Group #2 will start at 7pm.
All riders must sign up by June 6 for the $50 rate.

Saturday is Battle of the Villes - Louisville.
This is the last leg in the three-track competition.
Burdette will be closed so that all our riders can go to Louisville!
Registration 3-5pm EST (2-4 Evansville time)
Race ASAP!!
If you are going, there may be some road construction. If you come down the Watterson (264), it will be closed east-bound from Dixie Highway to 65. 71 will have more traffic than usual. If you are running late, you can call Christy Jones to register over the phone. Her number is 502-558-9209.

Webmaster note:
As of September 1, I will step down as the webmaster for Burdette Park Bmx in order to concentrate on other projects.
I hope some or all of the website I've built has been useful over
the last 4 years and beneficial to the track as well.

35TH ANNIVERSARY SEPTEMBER 8TH
Burdette Park Bmx is having an Anniversary! We are celebrating with a huge Birthday Bash Saturday Sept 8. Come join us for a double points race, $2500 purse pro-am, fun events and contests, dunk tank, bounce house, old school bike show, birthday cake, too many things to mention. Track opens at 11am. Reg til 3:30, race at 5!

NEW FOR 2012 - JACKET SERIES QUALIFIERS
Starting April 14, Burdette Park Bmx will run the Jacket Series Qualifiers!
These will be select races throughout the 2012 Burdette Park Bmx season designated
as "JACKET SERIES QUALIFIERS". Race at least 8 of these designated qualifiers and the
rider will win a Burdette Park Bmx T-shirt!
The top rider in each Novice, Intermediate, Expert, Girls & Cruiser classes will receive
a "BURDETTE PARK BMX JACKET SERIES CHAMPION" jacket at the end of the 2012 season!
